Festival of Lessons and Carols, a tradition from the Anglican Church, is rapidly growing in popularity during this season and in our region. On Sunday, December 14, 5:00pm another Festival of Lessons & Carols will take place in our church. The Christmas story will be told through readings (the “Lessons”), and prayers alternating with hymns and Christmas carols (the “Carols”) performed by members of various choirs. We begin at 5:00 p.m. and conclude with a retiring collection. Everyone is warmly welcome in our beautifully decorated church. We continue to build on a wonderful tradition that began in our parish in 2022, preparing together for the coming of the light of Christmas.

Het Festival van Lessons & Carols
Het Festival van Lessons and Carols, een traditie uit de Anglicaanse Kerk, groeit snel in populariteit tijdens dit seizoen en in onze regio. Op zondag 14 december om 17.00 uur zal opnieuw een Festival van Lessons & Carols plaatsvinden in onze kerk. Het kerstverhaal wordt verteld door middel van lezingen (de “Lessons”) en gebeden, afgewisseld met hymnen en kerstliederen (de “Carols”) uitgevoerd door leden van diverse koren. We beginnen om 17.00 uur en sluiten af met een collecte bij de uitgang. Iedereen is van harte welkom in onze prachtig versierde kerk. We bouwen verder aan een mooie traditie die in onze parochie in 2022 begon, terwijl we ons samen voorbereiden op de komst van het licht van Kerstmis.
Kerstavond – Engelstalige Heilige Mis
De heilige mis op kerstavond, 24 december, zal om 23.30 uur plaatsvinden met ons internationale koor St. John the Baptist.
